Ever since her parents death, Asha has been living her life hiding away.
She has managed to keep herself clear from every single teenage drama her whole life, she was even proud of it... that is of course until one day, Maddison Fraser, a girl she once knew very well, decides to play with fire.
Maddison is dating the five most popular girls in her school.
The problem is, Maddison is manipulative, calculating and an unapologetic player. Maddie humiliates and laughs at them in front of the whole school, and soon enough, the school turns them into a joke, they are "Maddie's Girls" - no longer known for their popularity but rather because of the humiliation and embarrassment Maddison put them through.
Fuelled by anger and heartbreak, the five girls (Rebecca, Nina, Lottie, Maggie & Cassie), come up with a plan to break Maddie's heart.
Right in the middle of it, with no idea why, is Asha. Asha, unproblematic little Asha, gets sucked right into the middle of the drama and it flips her life upside down.
But change isn't always a bad thing.
Throughout the story, Asha and the girls will learn to open up, to trust, to let go, to forgive and love again.
"Of course, it is very limiting to be labeled a lesbian or queer writer. We live in a homophobic culture, and even people who aren't hateful per se assume they won't get anything from a queer book." - Michelle Tea
She wasn't fond of her when they first met, she hated pretty girls.
Pretty girls are always deceiving her, always leaving her in misery.
And most of all, stupid.
Like the wife she has, sometimes she is lesbian, and other months she can be straight. The woman she once loved turned into her nightmare.
But this pretty girl turns out to fill her life more than anybody else could.
She makes her smile, she is lovely, and she always knows how to make a good joke.
Until a very tempting affair entangles them.
She warms her bed, and she fills her life.
She makes her feel loved, and she cherishes her with all her life.
Her words are her commands.
She is her everything.
Ava fall first, but Celeste falls harder.
