Love and hate sound like opposite emotions but in reality is nothing more than a thin like separating the two that is so easy to cross you won't even realize you have crossed it before it already too late to stop.

What happens when after finally getting away from your past, everything you thought was gone comes rushing back to you full force.

Alexa has been to hell and back. She never used to be this way, never was the girl afraid of talking of speaking her mind. She got broken, her heart crippled and she was no longer that same strong girl she once was. SHe had to get away, from everything, her so-called friends. And HIM.

Now Alexa is at a new school a different town living with her brother who is in college and for the first time in a long time she feels free, like she can be herself again. But what happens when she lets herself go even a little bit. And attracts the attention on the schools player. She made the mistake of telling him off, hoping he would get the hint and leave her alone.

Now Carter has his sights set on one thing, her. The only girl he has ever had reject him. He wants her. And he intends to get her.

Alexa doesn't know why but with Carter she can let herself be a bit of her old self again. But she won't put and trust or feelings at all. She is afraid what he makes her feel, because she felt all of the same things before, only to get hurt again in the end.
