A story of loss and broken hearts, none were so loved as Miss Ives, she was a friend a daughter and a lover, and now she was gone forever... Everyone involved blamed themselves for the loss to the world, and they were all grief stricken when it happened. All of them but one gathered around her grave planting and tending the lily plants, with their white arum flowers showing someone who was taken to soon. The creature came, long after the others had left and fallen to his knees, he wept openly over her grave. Somehow still feeling her there with him, he could not believe that someone so good and kind could be gone, someone who had never judged him or turned away because of the horror of his face. He wished over and over again that just once someone up there would hear him and bring her back, even if they took him instead. Then suddenly it hit him.........
