I exited through the side entrance of the building and stood by the manhole cover, pulling it up and out of the way. I climbed down the ladder and slid the cover back over me, shrouding myself in pitch darkness. 

When I got to the ground, water splashed by my feet and I turned my phone flashlight on. Ice covered most of the walls and floor, except for the small puddle I stepped in.

I looked around and started walking in the right direction. It was colder in the sewers this time of year and I almost slipped on ice a few times. 

When I saw familiar pipes and came to what looked like a concrete wall, a small smile formed on my lips. I stood in front of it for a moment, staring at it. 

"Come on, Angel." I muttered to myself.

It's only been two years. I doubt much has changed. 

I took a deep breath in and reached up to pull the pipe above the closed door. I'm a lot taller now, so I didn't have to get on my tip toes like back then. The door parted open and I walked in slowly, hearing a thud behind me when it shut closed.

It was quiet in the lair as I walked around, taking it all in. Most of it looked the same, while some parts looked new. I took my beanie, scarf, and jacket off, setting them on the couch nearby.

"Hello?"

Feeling extremely tired all the time 2. Coughing blood 3. In a coma with blood still coming out First, there is the Hamato company that is run by the first son of Splinter Hamato the CEO of the company was Leonardo Hamato and his little brother Michelangelo Hamato as his assistant since his little brother was pretty good at helping Leonardo. Then there is the Oroku Company that is run by Oroku Saki bit has it look like his second son as Donatello Oroku is the CEO as his older brother Raphael Oroku is the second in command. But as the Oroku Saki company was getting threatened Saki asked Raphael to pretend to join the Hamato company as he would at first have a hard time people accepting him in. Leonardo tries to not shoe any I treat till they started talking about the gay men as it went to another subject of finding out that Leonardo liked only other men. So Raphael used that to blackmail Leonardo do what he wanted a sense Leonardo's father Splinter people probably take it bad. What will happen to Leonardo? Will Splinter find out? And is Raphael going to get Hamato shut down their company so the Oroku company can succeed? And just before they finished me off, they were knocked off their feet by what looked like...ninjas? Everything happened in a blur. The men in black were being flown everywhere. The blackness started to then wrap itself around me into it's dark hold, and the last thing I saw before I was consumed was four, green, ninja reptilian people standing above me. Then I realized that they were...turtle ninjas. (This is my first TMNT fanfic, so don't judge. And they took the movie off of Netflix, so some parts are not going to be accurate. This is set in the 2014 movie. I would advise for you to read this if you are 13 or older because there are mentions of child abuse, kidnap, mild cursing, and violence. But if you are younger than that and you want to read it, then go ahead, but read at your own risk. Anyways, enjoy the story.) I don't own the movie TMNT or the characters. This story is a rewrite of a fanfic I wrote in 1998, popular in the TMNT fandom. I have been getting emails from strangers asking me for "Cold Fire" or to write a new story in the same world, a world in which Michelangelo gains telekinetic and telepathic powers via alien technology but at a nearly fatal price. Angst, Tragedy, and Hurt/Comfort were my Tropes to play with. Mikey got hurt a lot. But being psionic helps delay death, you know? Now I get to play with the 2012 reboot from Nick. Despite my skepticism, it really grew on me. Mikey has freckles! And huge bright blue eyes! And he's the comedic prankster with secret brilliant intelligence, the loud silly annoying weird hedonist with ADHD and natural ninja skills who could be the most powerful martial artist if he'd concentrate his potential. It irritated me at first when April O'Neil was brought in as a hybrid teen human with Kraang DNA and psychic powers. But once it was established that in Dimension X, Michelangelo was very powerful, I realized that potentially, Mikey could also have Kraang DNA, which is why he is able to navigate Dimension X as if it were his natural state. "Hey, in crazy backwards land, crazy backwards dude is king." And it does make me wonder if the writers will actually touch upon that. If Mikey really has Utrom DNA, and if it is activated, would he be potentially psychic? I'm not waiting to find out. This story takes place in the middle of Season 4. But I imagine they could take a break for a few months to deal with... um... this. It's technically an AU since I ignore and expand the canon six months. Warnings for gore, violence, language, descriptions of medical procedures. Hallucinations and creepy nightmares abound. I get very rough with Mikey and his brain.)
