We did a whole unit on WWI poetry in school and I though I just had to write a piece. This poems depicts the horrors of being trapped inside a body that has been changed so much because the unforgettable sights of war that it is no longer yours. This poem is merely an interpretation of what I think you'd be feeling in this situation and is not in any way designed to offend anyone.All Rights Reserved

Thoughts struggling to escape, the memories vivid in your head.
