Eight months have passed since the Tournament of Worlds. Greg and Guillermo have been taking a vacation with Star and have been relaxed. But, their time is cut short by a visit from their elemental counterparts, aka the gods. They tell them of the rising of a dark godlike person, recruiting other people chosen by the gods. "War is coming, and it doesn't matter what happens, people will die," the god of lightning said.
