Luke Collins has never been the one to care about anyone at all, no matter how painful and excruciating the situation was for that certain person. He didn't think wasting his time on people was the best thing to do. Luke thinks that having friends is a complete waste of breathe, energy and happiness so he decides that it's better not to have any.
