Yes. This story is from another world.

Nour Siddiq is not your regular girl. She has a total different view of the world, being brought up in K.S.A., hiding behind the curtain always. Not that she didn't like it. She loved it. She felt comfortable and secure.
Now her life has taken a turn of events. She is now in Toronto, completing her education.
Moving itself is if not stressful, the discrimination she faces in school, due to wearing a hijab makes her life even more tiring. But she really doesn't care. She never has cared about other people before.

But...

When Eric Messer takes a sudden interest in her, she seems to find it difficult to focus on her life alone with him 'coincidentally' bumping in to her (almost) every time.

Why is he interested you ask?

Well... it's actually pretty ironic really. He took interest in her because she did NOT take interest in him. Eric always had girls pooling at his feet without him even asking. But when he seems interested in a girl for the first time... let's just say he is not well acquainted with rejection.
