"I didn't do anything... but I wanted to. I wanted to so badly." I nearly choke on my water. I don't know what's worse; his confession, or how nonchalantly he says it, as if he's reading the weather. "Come again?" I say, thinking that I must have heard him wrong. He shrugs. "I want to f*ck you." Again, he is as nonchalant as ever. I just stare stupidly, my mouth agape. He closes my mouth, grinning at me, wicked intentions in his eyes. Not so nonchalant anymore, I see. "Um, I-I...I don't..." I stop talking, realising what a total idiot I sound like, while his grin broadens. In that second, I am grateful for my dark skin, as he can't see me blushing. "Tongue-tied?" My cheeks get hotter. "Shut the f*ck up." He actually laughs. "Don't worry, honey," he says, his hot breath brushing against my face, shocking me. When did he get this close? "One day," he whispers, now in my ear,"I will f*ck you." I realise that my eyes are closed and I open them. He's gone. I stand there frozen, in total shock. What the actual f*ck just happened? *** When all you know is disappointment, you become your own best friend. You isolate yourself from everyone else. You need no one; love is a weakness. I wasn't suppose to fall for the captain of the hockey team. I try not to like him, but I fall even harder. But I carry a heavy past around my shoulders and when those two familiar people threaten me with Havens life, I'm stuck between choosing his happiness or mine. My parents make me feel like I can't have Haven West. And if I'm being honest, even I don't know if I can have him. But he calls me his special person. He's my special person. Haven West. The only thing I've ever cared about was hockey and the people that raised me. I grew up with parents that held a knife to my neck and destroyed my image of happiness. When she moved in, I hated it. When a month passed by, I couldn't help but take her out on a night drive, smiling at how tight she holds me. There's no one like her. She was the one that made me laugh because of how fucking silly she is. She saw me when all I've ever wanted was for my parents to love me. I fucked myself up getting attached to her. Because now, I'm addicted to her. I'm a smiling bastard whenever she's around. I'm broken and never believed in love but I can't let her go because she's what I would describe heaven to be like. Mr. Forgettable
I wanted to let go, wanted to jump. But when I felt my hand release the railing I had been holding so tight, my knuckles turned white, I felt a tender hand grasping mine. My eyes were closed and I was prepared to feel the water hit my body. It never happend. I opened my eyes and quickly turned around, only just realizing someone was holding my wrist with a firm grip. My eyes searched the ones of the other and when our eyes met, I cried. Beautiful green eyes stared right into my soul. They weren't just green eyes. They were all different shades of green. They were the most unique, promising, caring eyes that ever looked at me. They matched with his wavy, dark-green hair. The rest of his face was covered with a thousand freckles and a soft smile. "Are you lonely?" Hi, so I came up with this idea when I was listening to Mr. Forgettable from David Kushner. This story is kinda based on the song, but also not really. It's mostly my own imagination that comes free when I listen to it :). ‼️BE PREPARED‼️ There is an TRAGIC ENDING.
