The Dread-Wolf did not always wander alone. He had a companion; a lover-one who walked with him to rebel and lock away the ancient Gods of Arlathan.

As a daughter of the Forgotten Ones, Eadalas has lived her entire life in darkness. Alone and isolated in the Forgotten Ones' kingdom under the earth, she thinks she has seen every evil imaginable until Solas comes and sheds light on the plight of the slaves in Arlathan. As they grow closer, Eadalas has to make a choice, follow in the steps of her kin, the Forgotten Ones, or help Fen'harel in his plan to destroy the Gods and put up the veil. By defying her very nature, Eadalas is certain that helping him may come with a price...but is it one that she is willing to make?

Solas was ready to give up everything to bring his plan of destruction to fruition, but can he raise the veil and free the slaves if it means hurting someone he loves?

Based off of lore and characters from Bioware's Dragon Age franchise.

House of the Fallen (Book 1 of the Shardbearers) by Beaneyandbooks
33 parts Complete Mature
BOOK 1 OF THE SHARDBEARERS SERIES | She thought she was human. They knew she was anything but. Now the truth might destroy them all. Elliora has always known how to survive-growing up with a drunk for a father, guarding a heart cracked by betrayal, and burying the aching need to be wanted. But survival means nothing when the Veil rips open and demons come hunting for her blood. Rescued-and then imprisoned-by four dangerously beautiful strangers, Elliora finds herself trapped in a house that shifts like a living thing, with magic she doesn't understand surging in her veins. The men who saved her aren't human. They're fallen angels. And they're convinced she's something rare. Something powerful. Something worth dying for. But Elliora doesn't trust easily. Especially not the cold, commanding leader with secrets behind his eyes. Or the storm-eyed healer who won't let himself feel. Or the wildfire-tempered protector with too much rage. Or the charming flirt who touches her like she's made of light. As Elliora struggles to control a magic that answers to no one-and to resist the pull of the four broken souls around her-an ancient enemy begins to haunt her dreams. He knows what she is. And he'll stop at nothing to claim her. Even if it means tearing the world apart to do it. Darkly romantic, emotionally charged, and wickedly addictive, House of the Fallen is a slow-burn fantasy romance where one girl must choose between the past that broke her and the future that could save-or end-everything.
