Jack McLoughlin is not an average child. He was born with a rare birth defect, which gives him a sense of sight and hearing that's about 100 times better than a normal human. The defect also gives Jack sharper reflexes and quicker judgement time. Feeling sick of being used by bullies and called a freak at school, he decided to become a spy, and use his gift for something other than busting drug addicts out of detention. He ends up with Mark Fischbach as his partner, and from what he's heard, he's with the best of the best. Hopefully, Jack can keep the tracks of his deepest secret under wraps from this super spy legend...
Mark Fischbach knows things only a handful knows. He's the James Bond of the T.U.B.E. Agency, and no one can deny it. When he's asked to be the partner and mentor of T.U.B.E.'s newest recruit, Jack McLoughlin, Mark tries to show him the ropes of the life of a spy. What he discovers, is that Jack already knows some of the techniques, or at least, how to react to most situations. Even how to react to some situations he hadn't been in. Jack always seemed to be hiding something, and Mark, being his suspicious self, wants to get to the bottom of it...
Will the underdog rookie manage to keep his darkest secret from his colleagues trained to find information?
Or will the ace agent discover that Jack isn't all that the rookie makes out to be?
