Zoe Blake lives in a world where failure isn't tolerated. When a teenaged hits the age of sweet 16 they are called for their test. The test that decided whether or not they will be a risk to the rest of the world. If you pass the test you get to carry on you life as normal. But if you fail, you're sent to the island.
Zoe knows deep down that she has a low chance of passing, especially because she thinks the test it pathetic to begin with. When she wakes up on the island she must use her wit, strength of will and the help of others to survive.
But the island isn't all that it seems. What will Zoe uncover? When she learns the truth the very foundations of everything she believed was true will be shattered. Will she make it out alive?
