So, the world went to Hell. No one knows how or exactly when but it became split into the north and the south. All of the countries fused together with wide rivers to separate each 'county'. The north was prosperous, accepting, peaceful (for the most part) and not the place John Laurens was lucky enough to call home. Enter the south; strict, war ridden, paranoid, not as accepting (an understatement when some of the areas had slaves) and home sweet home. He hates it with a burning passion. His father was quite a patriot however and so immediately signed Jonh up for and undercover mission. He was to go into a school in the north and try to steal some information. He wasn't to do this alone however, the fact he was outspoken about freedom and equality practically assures that he wouldn't be trusted alone. Thomas Jefferson and James Madison were to be his partners. He could deal with Madison, he was a decent guy. Jefferson however, he didn't stand a snowball's chance in Hell of getting along with Jefferson. Jefferson was a stuck up, slave owning, ignorant rascal. Basically the opposite of John. John is desperate to get away from Jefferson and gets that chance when placed in a room with three people, all of them having immigrated to the city. He has to gather information but as he grows closer to these people, can he betray them or will he chose to turn his back on the south and be happy with people who share his ideals.
