Archaeology Major from the University of California-San Diego, Miller Pierson, embarks on a journey to South America when news reports begin to fill up with news of strange ruins suddenly appearing just south of Santiago, Chile. On a bet she brings her close friend and Anthropology major, Delilah Gomez, and her old professor, Damon Strong on a journey to the heart of the South American temperate rainforest in hopes of finding the source of the strange ruins and learning about the people that built them.
