SECOND DRAFT: Hard Bank Left
I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. Rose (Revenge Story ) On my sixth birthday my daddy asked me what I wanted I said a pony. On my seventh birthday my mommy asked me what I wanted, I said I wanted to be a princess. On my eight birthday my grandma and grandpa asked me what I wanted, I said I wanted my mom and dad back. On my ninth birthday I was put into care. On my tenth birthday no one asked me what I wanted. Same with the eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth. So on my fourteenth birthday I asked myself what I wanted. I come up with a one word answer, revenge. (Please be warned this story is not for the faint hearted 18+) I wanted to have it under romance / mystery but they don't have that so yeah. So I think this story has been made privet. I am sorry about this. It was not by my doing, if you would still like to read it follow me and add to your library again. Sorry.
