What I Couldn't See Before

It was as though time had frozen over in our little town. People had began to be peculiar to me too. Electricity suddenly became sparse and the towns people adopted an affection for candlelight. Car crashes became unstoppable and horses regained an importance within our community. Perhaps the greatest oddity was the death of the mayor. He was left swaying in the wind of our towns square while everyone rushed about him, uncaring. It seemed to me that I was the only one who noticed this revolutionary oddity in thinking.
