Sebastian is a warrior. He is a Chief and he is a Commander, but he is a vampire haunted by a past that plagues him with regret and guilt.
He had waited as long as five hundred years for that one chance to make amends to his dead loved ones and to redeem his broken soul.
The day he met Annie, an abused and orphaned child, he was sure he had found his chance. However, it would prove a challenging task to guard her against his kind, the pack of secretive wolves she shared her forest home with, and ultimately his very nature.
Determined to protect Annie regardless of what it might cost him, Bastian endure for the sake of his newfound humanity and the girl who needed him. That was until everything he cherished was taken away from him, again...
Sebastian's decision to keep Annie was turning into a huge mistake.
