Werewolves have prowled amongst humans for as long as written human history can go. They have different names, characteristics, and lore in hundreds of cultures across the planet. Humans disregard them as myth and fantasy in these modern times, which give Werewolves freedom to roam and own property without persecution.

In the North American continent, there are six Werewolf packs. They're all fairly well spread out and have sparse interaction with one another, except for trade and war. The smallest, but most violent and aggressive, lies in the Yukon territory of Canada. The Black Knights. At their head is Elena. Among the other packs she is rumored to have a heart colder than the territory itself and an iron fist.

So what happens when her frozen heart goes near the fiery passion of revenge, belonging to a troubled soul with a dark past?
