It is 1483, and Edward is the King, but not in any way that truly mattered. He had known these walls for less than a month, but already he could sense that they would be the last destination for him and his brother. They would be referred to as the Princes in the Tower, but the moment his father had died, he had become King, and his Uncle, Protector. King though, was a word he did not want to say in the presence of his Uncle, a man who now saw himself on the throne, along with all the men that surrounded him.
When Edward IV of York, the King of England died, he left the throne to his son, Edward V, a boy who is well trained for the job, but still a year from maturity, leaving the boy in the middle of a power grab. Edward may be the new King, but he and his brother, Richard, now face a life in ruin or an early death as they await either their Uncle's mercy or his greed. All Edward wants is to be with his mother and sisters, but even he knows that the Tower of London is no friend to prisoner Kings, and their time as guests will be short lived. Locked away, the two wait for their chance to be freed and Edward's moment to take control; long live the King.

England, 1450. King Henry VI has been on the throne for almost thirty years, and has failed to live up to the legacy of his father, Henry V, the victor of Agincourt. His early reign was dominated by two uncles, the Duke of Gloucester and Bishop of Winchester, who were constantly working to overrule each other. Against Gloucester's wishes, a peace was brokered with France in 1445, and King Henry was wedded to the French King's niece, Margaret. Gloucester and Winchester are now dead, replaced as chief minister by the allied Dukes of Suffolk and Somerset. The English province of Normandy has fallen to the French and Suffolk, has taken the blame. With the threat of unrest in the kingdom, Suffolk is sent into exile on the continent. But the common people are determined not to be cheated out of justice... Updates will come, but may be slow going. This book is the first in a planned three-part series about the Wars of the Roses, what I'm provisionally calling 'York and Lancaster'. To be perfectly honest, I wrote this mainly for myself, so if you do end up reading and enjoying it, let me know. I have tried to keep the narrative as neutral as possible. If multiple characters have the same name, then the one who appeared second is likely the son of the former (e.g. after Thomas Courtenay, 5th Earl of Devon, died in 1458, his son, also called Thomas, became 6th Earl of Devon). Characters with titles will be referred to by their title (e.g. 'Henry Holland, Duke of Exeter' will be referred to as 'Exeter'.
IMPRISONED: The Princess and the Stable Boy
Broderick knew who he was: a peasant, a commoner, a nobody, at best a stable boy. Why was it proving impossible for everyone else to see him for who he truly was? Especially her! Ever since Princess Charlotte had ordered him to ride with her to the old mill, his life had been turned upside down with no one granting him the right to choose his own future. With every new situation that befell him with the princess, Broderick only felt the chains tightening about him, the cell door in the castle dungeon looming that much closer, and the hangman's noose appearing more and more a sure certainty to soon be draping about his neck. And what was all this nonsense that the princess kept repeating that she herself was no different than the animals under his care: that she was only something to be bartered for, and that none of her own dreams for herself could ever be attained? Why had she chosen him of all the people in the castle to share her deepest sentiments and hopes with, continuing to intrude into what had once been a simple life, and vexing him to no end with all of her questions? A simple life? A certain, if forgettable and humble future? Was that not what most men only hoped for? Yet, it appeared as the months and the years passed by, despite his assured unworthiness, Broderick found himself being forced into becoming someone he was not and being given responsibilities for the realm that were beyond his humble beginnings and lesser abilities. Truly, all he had a talent for was the care of the horses and of the barns. Yet, just as dire as these troubling circumstances were Princess Charlotte's own words to him: "When all is done. When you have accomplished all that I ask. Come for me. Come for me for I will be waiting. Only for you, Broderick. For no other." How could she make such claims upon him? A King, A Captain, A Mess
Two brothers learn who each other really are while on an adventure. Who will be king? Can they stop a civil war? Will they find and accept their mates? Could I suck any worse at descriptions?... probably not. Still, I think you should give the story a chance before you disregard it. Story excerpt: "I don't want to be a king. I've never wanted to be king! You know this, Father. Please..." I beg hoping he has another solution. "I see no other option. Look out the window, Ethan. It hasn't even been an hour, and a crowd has gathered at our doors. What do you want me to do? The people love you. The soldiers respect you. The only members of the clan you need to win over are the stuffed shirts and with what your brother just pulled? You're as good as gold." "You wanted this to happen." I accuse him, and he shrugs. "Want? No. Expect? Yes. Your brother is more concerned with holding his mothers dress than leading his people... but by all means, if you have a plan to make him a worthy ruler, lay it out for me, Captain." Father responds, looking for a battle plan to reign in his own son. "Are you willing to stand up to your mate?" I ask and he shudders before nodding. I've got some work to do.

Manned by the same so called 'monsters', that they guard and protect the humans from. What they do with the girls, no one knows. But what they do know is that no one comes out of the keep. So when Alice and her friends, wake up in the middle of a crowded hall, that looks like it came out from a Medieval history book. And finding out that shifters do exist, also that the creator and second in command/Watcher and owner of the legendary 'Fire Wall', are both her mates. Her and her friends lives will never be the same again. Through twists and turns, they will face: death, love, sacrifice and face there true fate with a heavy heart. Second chances and the fate of there world and universe is in the palm of there hand. It is official these girls will have an interesting ride. (All the myths and legends in this book are based around beings who are already in books and legends, although there may be one or two that I have made myself. The beings that I have described in this book, may not be how they are in myths and legends, but please don't get annoyed or angry, for this is how I have done it with as much information as I possibly can. He was the prince of England. I was the Princess of Wales-a small province in England. She was the Princess of Sweden. They had to marry for their kingdom to reunite so that we could protect our motherland from the powerful forces of Mafias. He loved me. I loved him back. But our love? Our Love was like a black rose. So beautiful and magnificent, yet impossible. It needed more than just the nature's powerful forces which we were devoid of. There were no powerful elements to support us. The handful supporters were weak. Very, very weak. There might be a war outside, but there was a war inside our minds and hearts too. Who will I choose? My best friend or my lover? Who will he choose? Me or his father's orders? Most importantly, who will she choose? They conquered the most countries over the centuries, they are both loved and feared but above all they stick to there traditions. However this doesn't mean they don't make bad choices. For one thing The King hates gays and it's very unfortunate for him that his first born son is gay. Jake the Prince wants gay marriage to be legal and let there be no rules against gays, but while his father is on the throne the law against gays will stay. Anyone who is gay will be beheaded, Jake has to hide the fact he and his boyfriend date, if the public know if him being gay his dad will have to kill them both. One day The King breaks and he pushes Jake over the edge, Jake then begins his quest for a revolution to kick his dad of the throne and let gays be legal.Concluida
