A whole kingdom...torn. Vespian and Lyru, brother and sister, are torn apart by the war. Their parents, dead. Vespian was killed along with his parents, but a necromancer brought him back. He is now her puppet to use to carve a way to the throne she prizes. Lyru is forced to marry the prince of the invading country. She is caged, trapped and filled with despair. Vespian will save her, and Lyru will get to the throne, but this is no happily ever after. Nothing is.
