In the past the world was ruled by godlike beings who controlled the massive power of the Earth's natural elements. Cities would cower before them in fear while individuals would devote their whole lives to worshipping them, but over time the spirits became less aggressive and the people only remembered them through stories. These stories faded and eventually disappeared turning a once strong religion into a forgotten mythology.
Fast forward to modern day, where we'll find Andrew, and average high school kid who is no jock and is certainly no honor student, but he gets by all the same, but when a mysterious stalker enters into his life he is thrusted into the ancient forgotten world of Shengeki. He learns of an undiscovered power that lies within him and his true destiny is revealed: He will either be the savior of the modern world, or be its executioner.
