Humanity has brutally expanded into the stars, conquering the vast galaxy like wildfire. Thousands of planets are now in mankind's grasp.
This expansion was lead by the Great Council, who united humanity in troublesome times.

But many years of stagnation have caused the Great Council to become corrupt and selfish. Problems get ignored, growing larger, and yet the councillors are feuding over petty politics.

It must come to an end, or humanity will surely perish.

Even should it call for making friends of enemies, enemies that have attacked the Empire for hundreds of years but never outright destroying it.
