When Chrissy Horne woke up from a nightmare, the strangest thing happened. It started when she woke up one morning with dried blood on her hands, then she discovered rocks in her grasp a separate morning, and seashells the following. Chrissy determined that every element was manageable, until the book that is. It had no trace, no point of origin, no name, and frankly, it scared the shit out of Chrissy. It wasn't until a damp night in the middle of Baltimore that she met someone who experienced unnatural events like her, Maddox. Only Maddox wasn't alone in the world like Chrissy thought, instead introducing her to an entire team of freaks like her. However, they aren't alone in their strange world, as Chrissy soon finds out that her dreams have a purpose, and that there are those who seek to harm her and her new friends. With any luck, they may just make it out alive.
