As a writing exercise, I like to write story prompts. These can be pretty much anything, from a plot summary to a title to a character. And since I always have way more ideas than I could ever write, I thought it might be useful to some of you to put these out here for the people of the internet to use and enjoy. Feel free to use any of these!

Sidenote: If you use one, I would really appreciate it if you left a comment telling me which one you used so I can read it!

Everyone thinks he should have recovered after that much time, but Allan still haunts Elliot every night. He struggles to maintain relationships with his family, and despite a coworkers interest he can't summon up the courage to date. Elliot is living for the past, because to live for the present means he'll have to live with a hole in his heart.
