In a world where you have a identification barcode on your right wrist and a countdown to fall in love with your soulmate that the universe picks, Phil Lester feels isolated. His friends' countdowns have already started and they are just waiting on Phil.
Dan Howell is a transfer from Manchester to London for getting in a fight at his old school. He was nothing but bullied and harassed for his countdown.
Phil is the only person Dan has known to include him and accept him right off the spot, and as soon as they meet, something spectacular happens.
