Ethan and the Ranger

Ethan lives in a remote valley at the foot of the mountains. A dull life on his father's farm stretches out in front of him-it looks as if his yearning to travel and see the wonders of the world will never be realised. But he finds a body one morning, floating in a pool in the woods, the body of a stranger, his cloak covered with mysterious symbols of animals and birds.
So begins an adventure which will see him leave the valley he has lived in his whole life. The kingdom is under a terrible threat, issuing from the bowels of the earth under the mountains, of which the body in the pool is just the first sign. Ethan will play a vital part in trying to defeat the horror that has emerged from the Black Gate.
