"Avery! Answer me!", he yelled
"No food for you today", he said smirking.
"Avery if you don't answer me then there will be consequences!", he yelled angrily.
He picked up his belt and smacked it hard on the side of Avery's face.
Avery suddenly woke up, startled. Her eyes were red from crying and she was sweating heavily. Her uncontrolled breaths echoed the room as she tried to calm herself down.
This was the second dream she had had about her step-dad that woke her up like this. But something was different this time. Her room seemed different. Suddenly it struck her. The walls of her bedroom had suddenly changed color from a plain white to a fresh blue. Her eyes started to widen as she noticed the decorations around her room and the red carpet that brightened the floor beneath her.
She couldn't believe her eyes. Her whole house looked different. She looks out her window and sees the view of crowded streets that had changed into beautiful hills and trees. This wasn't the world she lived in....
What will happen when Avery is transfered to another world?? Most importantly, will she fall for the guy she hated the most??

She gasped and used the little strength she had left to turn around and look at the man, but certainly not a human one. Muscles rippled across every part of his toned body, nearly seven feet tall in height. He had thick, pure white hair tied in a braid that laid across his muscular bare back, ending at his hips. He had prominent cheekbones and a well-defined chin and jaw. Beneath his brows, his lavender eyes were as direct as expected, not even blinking as much as the average person. Unfortunately, his haunting eyes landed on the small human, seemingly examining her shaking figure closely. His lips curved into a grin, revealing his dangerously sharp teeth. Realization dawned on her, he was going to eat her. Little did she know, he was actually going to marry her. • snippet • She pulled out of his hold and took a step back. "You want to use me."
