A fiery pub brawl leaves maybe with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to post-apocalyptic Argonpaw to find some answers. at first the people of Argonpaw are kawaii and clever. She's intrigued by the curiously tattooed cleaner, Rinaldo Shpineapple. However after he introduces her into being a hardcore fire mage Maybell slowly finds herself drawn into a web of jealousy gluttony and perhaps even murder.
Can Maybell resist the charms of Rinaldo Shpineapple and uncover the secret of the weathered can of lighter fluid before its too late, or will her demise become yet another Argonpaw legend?
