The Templars' attempt to create a new precursor failed. Considerably. Not only did they cause the Shroud to lose it's abilities, but they also caused it to disintergrate, making the damage irreversible. The only course of action was to use the newly invented time travel pads to change the location of the piece of eden and preserve it till the present day. But how?
Identical twin girls Deborah and Esther were only sixteen when Bishop appointed them the biggest mission of their lives; to time travel back to 1871 and earn the trust of the assassins Evie and Jacob Frye and getting their help to relocate the shroud so an undiscoverable area and appoint generations of protectors to ensure the Templars would never find it.
The task seemed simple, but was nowhere near it.

They force her into an Animus, causing her mind to dive into a recent past, one that still has the Cybertronians. An ally comes and pulls her out of the Animus after several days. Now, she's seeing strange images, pictures but not symbols. Pushing them together, they form a strange sword that has a powerful aura. With a team, she goes on an adventure to find each piece of the sword. Shockingly enough, each piece is also guarded by a famous Cybertronian from the war. Just as luck would have it, the Templars also find out about the sword and do everything in their power to ensure the Assassins don't get their hands on a single piece. Will the Assassins ensure that humanity is safe or will the Templars rise on top?
