The Reason
It's always been Rex Ford. I've always loved him. I think I always will. Sometimes though, you have to walk away from those that you love, because of the love that you feel for them. When you truly love someone, you'll protect them and not yourself. So I did. No explanation. No reason. I just walked. I knew that Rex would never understand my reasons, or understand that I did it because I cared more about his feelings, than I did my own. I walked away from our relationship because I couldn't burden him with something so awful from my past, and I'd do it again in a painful heartbeat. My secret very nearly destroyed me. I couldn't ever let it destroy Rex. Now nine years on, I'm faced once again with the man that I deeply loved, who I will always deeply love. One Micro Fiction Story each Day [complete]
I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time.
