"I kinda don't want to be just friends " I mumbled the last part concentrating on my hands like there were the most fascinating thing I had ever seen.
There was a deafening silence. It was almost as if he hadn't heard me. I wanted to repeat what I had just said just to make sure but the little courage I had, had now vanished into thin air. He let out a slow steady breathe then replied in a voice so low I almost missed it.
