Jughead is a philosophically bent heartthrob who was once the best friend of Archie, and is still dealing with the rift that came between them. He's generally uninterested in any kind of romance, even disliking it. His father is the leader of the Southside Serpents but Jughead lives alone. He has no permanent home, his mom and sister aren't around and he spends the time he's not at school in Pop's Diner, writing his novel and drinking coffee. People who don't know him might think of him as a depressed, antisocial, emo kid, but underneath all that deterrence beats a big heart and works a thoughtful brain.
