The world we live in today is a contortion of futuristic technology and spoiled, rich socialites who pay the money into the tech giants pockets. Here in Ventura Bay it is no different, although, there is a certain unidentifiable aura to it. The air is much clearer than what you would find in New York City. But the lies, deceit and secrets that the city holds behind it's lavish estates and modernized shopping districts are just as toxic as the polluted air that you ingest into your lungs in New York. You'll see advertisements for the city posted around that'll tell you how it's pitch perfect, a hot spot for tourism and for taking up residence alike. But if you scratch beneath the surface just a little bit you'll come to find that it isn't true. Truth be told it doesn't matter how many buildings Michelle Zyara knocks up, you can't paint over cracks, they bleed through like poison. People began to call it the new Los Angeles, right here in Illinois. It certainly was, there were parties every night with enough drugs to tranquilise the best part of Manhattan, for a week. This caused a lot of previous residents to leave, their solitary and peaceful suburbia in the city of Ventura Bay was torn away and replaced by the swarm of degenerates that had been chewed up and spat out by the other party capitals of the world. The Bay rapidly became a safe haven for people who had been publicly shunned and were in desperate need for an escape. To uproot and plant yourself in the clutches of Ventura Bay was a huge gamble even for the most skillful of businessmen.
