~{Book 2 in the "Second Time Around" series.}~
Haunted by your mothers words, you refuse to give up on your friends. It was high-time you ventured out of the Maze, where you had been held for so long. Frantic to get away from WCKD, your mother, and the horrors of the outside world, you come up with the idea of heading for the Hills. The Hills is the only place WCKD had failed to take under control. If you seek refuge there and are accepted, it would be the best thing that had ever happened to you and your friends. Finally free from everything for a while. The problem was getting there. With WCKD after you, Cranks still on the lose, and a new species of Griever freshly introduced into the wild, things were going to get a little more then very difficult. How you were going to get your small group of nine to the Hills safely was beyond you, but the want, need, and determination to get away from WCKD, your past, was enough to push you to try. There's still one question on every Gladers mind as you slowly make progress on your journey: will they ever be truly safe from WICKED?
[DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the Maze Runner characters, settings, etc. I own River, Gabi, and Ashly Savanna Paige]
Y/N was Ava Paige's favorite, everybody knew that. She didn't work with WCKD like her brother Thomas did, she was simply one of their test objects. If Ava had known that Y/N would fall in love with a blonde haired British boy, she wouldn't have introduced them. So when Newt got sent into the maze, Y/N is determined to save him and her friends. She betrays WCKD, which causes Ava to send her into the maze as well. Will her and Newt fall in love again or will their fate break their hearts?

I don't own any of the plots or characters in this book except Y/N. All rights belong to the amazing James Dashner.
This is NOT a slowburn story. Since I base my fanfictions off of movies, there's not a lot room for me the create a backstory etc. If you want to read exclusively slowburn stories, this one isn't for you.
