Haunted by your mothers words, you refuse to give up on your friends. It was high-time you ventured out of the Maze, where you had been held for so long. Frantic to get away from WCKD, your mother, and the horrors of the outside world, you come up with the idea of heading for the Hills. The Hills is the only place WCKD had failed to take under control. If you seek refuge there and are accepted, it would be the best thing that had ever happened to you and your friends. Finally free from everything for a while. The problem was getting there. With WCKD after you, Cranks still on the lose, and a new species of Griever freshly introduced into the wild, things were going to get a little more then very difficult. How you were going to get your small group of nine to the Hills safely was beyond you, but the want, need, and determination to get away from WCKD, your past, was enough to push you to try. There's still one question on every Gladers mind as you slowly make progress on your journey: will they ever be truly safe from WICKED?

She never obeyed Alby's rules, she liked getting herself into trouble. Alby put up with her antics as she was the only girl the creators had ever sent up, and unless they did it again, Alby had to ensure she was safe, which was difficult when the girl enjoyed going against him and running out into the maze during lunch. Minho, the keeper of the runners, often had to chase after her on his days off, which coincidentally were the only days that the Angelica ran into the maze. That didn't mean he enjoyed chasing after the girl, Alby's orders though. One greenie, a boy named Newt, is different though and (Y/N) finds herself getting far too attached to this boy. Hello this is my first Maze Runner fic! Thought I would write one because why not, hope you enjoy! Note: please don't read this one if you're under 16, 15 absolute minimum. It's not appropriate and it makes me very uncomfortable to see actual children in my comment section.
