Haunted by your mothers words, you refuse to give up on your friends. It was high-time you ventured out of the Maze, where you had been held for so long. Frantic to get away from WCKD, your mother, and the horrors of the outside world, you come up with the idea of heading for the Hills. The Hills is the only place WCKD had failed to take under control. If you seek refuge there and are accepted, it would be the best thing that had ever happened to you and your friends. Finally free from everything for a while. The problem was getting there. With WCKD after you, Cranks still on the lose, and a new species of Griever freshly introduced into the wild, things were going to get a little more then very difficult. How you were going to get your small group of nine to the Hills safely was beyond you, but the want, need, and determination to get away from WCKD, your past, was enough to push you to try. There's still one question on every Gladers mind as you slowly make progress on your journey: will they ever be truly safe from WICKED?

(This is the 2nd part to my other story "The Maze trials: A Gally Fanfiction". I woke up in the Maze-alone. Yeah, you heard me right. Alone. No fanfare, no dramatic entrance, just me and a giant, twisted maze filled with creatures that probably wanted to eat me for breakfast. Why? Because I betrayed WICKED. Apparently, that's how they handle traitors-toss them into the Maze and hope they don't make it out. Typical. So, there I was, stuck in this nightmare, facing trial after trial with zero backup. But hey, I wasn't exactly known for giving up. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's surviving. Or so they thought. Y/n travels to the city for supplies, along the way she meets two boys that quickly become her best friends and show her she has something worth living. Her parents start realizing the infection is getting worse and closer to home. Her home is spied on? Her parents suspect danger is near while Y/n is home so they decide she should find uncle Jorge for more safety. On her way she crosses paths with the Gladers who have just escaped WCKD on the lookout for the right army. A tall British blond boy finds an interest in her and plans on sticking by helping her heal. Will the Gladers be her ticket to finally living a free life? Will she find her brother alive? You're very reserved, shy and and closed off because of what happened to you during the first month you were on your own. but you also are very powerful and run the glade. All of a sudden, a new Greenie comes around and notices you. you closed yourself off to him but something happens and makes you two start to become close, but what happens next? Only one way to find out! this follows tmr, tst, and tdc but not exactly Thomas and Minho are your best friends but Minho has always been closer to you if you see any errors or something doest make sense, pls tell me and ill change it. But try and be nice and resonable when you do give me advice.
