A man as dark as coal

It's a narrative poem about a hollow shell of a man. I wrote this after a day with little sleep, and it was actually a weird chain of events. The night before I was listing to some rock music to go to bed as I usually do, my dad came in and told me I need to pick something more mellow to sleep to, so I did. Looking for Skype mellow guitar music a run across a song called " vail" by Elements of Dawn. I liked the song, next morning i told myself I should write today. At school, during a study hall, I put that song on repeat and I pull out a note book, and thus was born "As dark as a black fowl" It's a little dark, But I hope you enjoy!
