Gem and the Journey (on hold)

When 2 10-year-old best friend's adventurous games begin to become reality, both of their families and everything they love are at stake. Meanwhile, the friend's siblings are both volunteering at a local shelter. A beautiful new dog with a strange collar has just arrived, and the poor pup needs a home fast! The friends begin to bicker about who gets the dog, until they refuse to speak to one another. They don't know it, but they have just put the shelter in danger, too! Back at home, the younger pair begin to argue as well. When all four children are asked to go on a quest by the new dog's collar, they must accept the challenge and become friends again, or decline the adventure and lose everything they've known.
