In the sheltered town of Annapolis, Maryland people start getting sick. So sick that they issue a mandatory quarantine, but this disease is  not anything what it seems. When a medical student, her teacher, and her class go on a visit to the hospital where the first patient was acquired, they hear things they shouldn't, and the government makes sure it will never ever get out. Even if it means murder.
