Ashley looked at the small boy sitting next to her, reading the first book of the red queen series. His brows furrowed in concentration as his light blue eyes jumped around the pages. " Chris?" The boy looked up from the book and looked into her green orbs " yes?" Ashley put her head down and closed the book she was reading " you're so small." She said, not meeting the other's gaze " that's because I'm anorexic." Chris turned his head to look at her but ashley didn't look back. " you're younger than me." " only by 10 months, besides age is just a number." He said, full attention on his girlfriend. " you're the damsel in distress and I'm your knight in shining armor." Ashley said, finally meeting the boy's gaze " well, then you can tell them," Chris locked eyes with Ashley's and smiled
