"Claire. Stay, please." My breath hitched in my throat. The room suddenly seemed small and electricity buzzed all around, bouncing from wall to wall. Ceiling to floor. Skin to skin. What the hell happened? It wasn't supposed to be like this. He wasn't supposed to be so sweet. We weren't supposed to be more than friends. It wasn't supposed to last this long. I wasn't supposed to fall in love.
