Destructive Shadows

Fifteen year old Karli Montoya has tried to fit in her whole life and try to be ordinary but she is anything but.
Growing up Karli has moved from town to town and now they have moved again but this time they plan to stay. That is till the shadows find them again.
You'd think a town like Colchester would be hard to find but not for shadows. They find the footprints left by special children like Karli Who posses the gift to inhabit the land of shadows or land of humans.
The shadows want to be human be seen as more than a shadow be important and only one Person can do that Karli... Shadows are all but good they want to cause destruction and evil where ever they go. If one gets a human body they can destroy any thing.
But when evil lurks around ever corner and threatens to break free she must do the one thing that she never thought she would... Give life to a shadow. One in particular shadow (Dante Black) has proven to be helpful but still dangerous . Giving him life was easy but gaining each others trust was a whole different story.
Will he help her in her mission to save the human race or will he betray her and be the cause of humans destruction.
