In this little rendition of a modern relationship, you replace the girl with a book and watch the horrible reality come to life. However, the book seems to have a life of its own. 

This was an assignment that I did for my collage Fiction Writing class. I happen to have enjoyed writing it so much I am using it here for others to enjoy as well.

That petty grudge drove her to do unspeakable things to him, things she could never take back, and drove a peaceful boy like Ashe to a destructive headspace. He became broken, inside and out. He felt like there was no hope left in living and wanted to end it all. That was until he met a stranger named Beatrix who changed his life for the better.
