Kat is a normal 30-something woman, who lives in a small town outside of a bigger city in the northern part of Texas. She is married to her husband, Max, and they live in his parent's old home, which was given to them on their wedding day.
Though they have been married for 7 years, they still have no children. They had been trying to conceive ever since they got married, and to their disappointment, had no success. Aside from that issue, Kat works in a shelter for battered and abused women, while Max coaches basketball at their local high school. They both like what they do for a living, and spend any free time they have together on each other. They live a pretty normal life, for the most part.
Until one morning, everything changes.
Kat is tested and put through many traumatic events from there on. She isn't quiet graceful in her efforts, but as the story unfolds, she not only triumphs through her sorrow, she also might even find a way to get revenge!
She was the one that went through a serious glow-up before senior year of high school.
