This story takes it's place in the Meiji Era, an Era where civilians of Japan have finally found peace in their country. After the Revolution of 1864 in Kyoto, unfamous Ex-Hitokiri Battōusai, Kenshin Himura, wanders the streets of Hokkaido with his now reversed blade on his hip, and an intention of protecting the country's citizens. The 22 year old wanderer saunters down the streets with no home, no food or water, and certainly no people he could call his 'Comrades'. As the days turn windy, Kenshin has no choice but to take shelter under a bridge near an old household. Due to a traumatic incident, she has lost few memories of her childhood that play an important role to upcoming events. The oblivious girl only wants to protect those she cares for, and is willing to do ANYTHING. That being said, she's just a young girl who's afraid.
