Orange is one of my favourite colours. It's sophisticated and professional. Absolutely fuss free. But if you think about it, orange is also alive and vibrant. If orange was a person it'd be a person who feels. But they keep their feelings under wraps. Not out of shame. Not out of fear of being judged. Simply out of a dislike for change and a need for normality.
So orange, is a choice.
I've been feeling decidedly orange lately.

Unbreakable Bond
"I LOVE YOU," I said, beaming as I knelt down. Her eyes widened in surprise, clearly caught off guard. "That's really sweet, but I don't feel the same way about you. You're a great friend, I'm sorry!" she replied, looking directly into my eyes, and it felt as if someone had popped my balloon of love with a pin of friendship. I stared at her in shock, my mouth opening to speak, but no words came out! I struggled to catch my breath and managed to force a smile as I said, "I understand; I won't pressure you to love me back. Thank you so much for everything you've done for me. I truly cherish every moment with you. But... could I please have a hug?" I wrapped my arms around her, a single tear escaping down my cheek, but thankfully she didn't notice. "Happy Birthday," I whispered as I pulled away, watching her leave me behind.Complete
