Sloan was surprised that no one was trying. FPS games were her life. Until they started to kill that is. We can’t logout. We can’t quit. Some sick crazy mind game the creators made. We were helpless kids. No one stepped up but the Legion. If you didn’t join them you were might as well dead. 50 floors to the top of the cathedral and that’s where you’ll escape.
But the Militia broke into each floor. Many people died that day. From 150,000 who logged into the game on the first day, to 40,672 in almost a week. If you remove your VRHelmet you die. We have to escape. Sloan knows they can’t finish the game. She loses hope completely, until Blaine shows up. She doesn’t know what to think.

Loading Game... Building Sceneries... Creating- romance? Parallel. It's a common word. You can probably hear your math teacher screaming that word in a kid's face, can't you? However, that won't be the case here. This is about parallel worlds. For Meredith and Lukas, they didn't find that out so quickly. Bullied and shunned for being the daughter of two famous and quite elite people, the students in Meredith Tanner's high school drove her off the cliff, resulting in therapy sessions once a week. Lukas James was in a different situation. He dropped out of high school (which disappointed his parents) and became a YouTuber, live-streaming games of generation A to Z. The two depressive teenagers didn't expect anything to change. She would continue therapy and never recover from the bullying and screeching suicidal thoughts, remaining as her high school's social outcast. He would continue to disappoint his parents by streaming on YouTube for attention instead of getting an education like his sisters. That's until a game changed their lives. "Parallel". The game was released, becoming #1 on the top gaming charts, which fancied both the teens' interests. Lukas was requested to play this game upon his subscribers. Meredith was requested to play this game in hopes of raising her socialization. However, something behind the game was unlike any level to pass- something dangerous. One game. They made friends. They began to thrive up there in the fluffy clouds. They had a second chance at a bright future... until it all got thrown down the drain. Their foster mom always did say their short fuse would be the death of them. Now, Kit is in hell. A fallen angel that is also a minor. Not the best combination in this scenario. Thankfully, they get taken in by a certain princess with a heart of gold. Will they survive this new turn of events? ... oh, and the group gets to meet more of the great king of hell's family! Who would've know that Call of Duty Zombies, YouTubers, and reality, don't mix well together. I figured this out as soon as the apocalypse hit. My names (Y/N). I'm a 21 year old girl that loved to play video games and make videos about it then and post it to YouTube, well I did before this hit. My YouTube name was The Gaming Theory (Not associated with my other book!) I had around 3 million subscribers and was living a damn good life in Los Angeles. Then...... It all just went away, just like that. No one knows how. No one knows why, it all just happened. Now, I'm fighting for my own survival against the undead. They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing. A teen girl, pitch black hair, black eyes, white skin. Her height is 5'8. People are scared of her, not just because of her strength but because of they way she kills.
