We all know how that episode ends, with Rory and Amelia Pond taken from the Doctor and Melody/River forever. What happens if Amy doesn't go back in time with Rory. Do they continue traveling, the raggedy man and the girl with the name from a fairy-tale, or worse.

After saving them from a crack in their wall, The Doctor leaves with the promise of returning five minutes later, so when he returns later than expected, there's no wonder why they've changed.
