All my life I have lived in darkness fearing too much to trust anyone with my true identity in a world where magic is banned and anyone caught having magic or practicing it must be killed, I've lived too much in the dark to trust the light when I see it. I Alexa Green, a weird teenage girl who is depressed in life and wants nothing to do with strangers and has no business making friends, all I want to do is study and get out of this darkness that is currently wrapped around me.
But what happens when Alexa transfers to Lakewood high school in senior year, would she be forever changed by the teenagers there or does it take one unique person to change her and make her trust again?
