A dystopian like apocalypse had wiped out most of the human race, and utterly destroyed whole continents across the globe.
This was the doing of the seemingly unstoppable cult, called The Union. People turned beasts, relentless, with a simple goal:
To find the survivors of the apocalypse and to eradicate them.
Eighteen years into the destruction, one man by the name of Jason held the secret to the fall of the Union. His plan could only succeed with pure skill, luck had nothing to do with it, there was never any luck.
However, Jason meets the mighty god of death, Morsus, and learns the hidden secrets of the apocalypse, The Union, and the origin of the suffering. It assigns Jason with the task of destroying 3 pieces of the god's soul: The Sorrow, Fury, and Hatred, in order to harness its energy. On the journey, Jason begins to learn more about the god, its plans, and The Union's devastating hopes to destroy Morsus.
He has no control over the situation, will Jason still be able to stop the apocalypse?
This story is one of a three part series, called Soulless, Timeless, and Endless. Each story contains a number of 'Chapters' or parts, as there would be quite a lot in just one story, if you have already read some of this and now notice changes, it is because I am working on improving this story.

Winter and her two sisters, Alyssa and Nalla, finally accept the true nature of the apocalypse. but only when a zombie attacks, and bites one of their own. spoilers: I ran into the zombie, arm first, pushing it down before the woman was bitten. I glanced up at her, watching her run with a small smile. That is about the time i realized i was still wrestling a zombie. I looked back at it, but it was to late, it's teeth were wrapped around my arm, blood oozing from it's mouth. I held my breath to stop my scream, shoving the zombie away, jumping back with a small gasp. I am a zombie now. I felt tears spring to my eyes, and i let them roll down my face. For some reason, one thought went through my head. I need to hide. "Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive.
