On the outskirts of the known Pokemon world, men and women delve forward into the dense mountain range before them. Amongst them is a fighting force of five, all equiped with Pokemon ready to defend against aggressive wild Pokemon. But when three of the team fail to return, and the remaining two escape barely, some extra help is needed, with the elite team the strongest amongst the force, arguably more so than some champions. So the help they need is from a pair of trainers, who, with a rivalry to drive them, have conquered a few Pokemon Leagues. Along with the support, will the missing trainers be found?

Timeline of Errors
The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo.
