PART ONE

Cassiopeia has always been compared to her younger sister Amanda. The "perfect" daughter. Cassi's parents, biological and Step, have always doted on Amanda ever since she was a baby, leaving Cassi who was only 3 at the time to be neglected and feel inferior. The strange scar she has running from her elbow down to the back of her hand that she has no idea where it came from, doesn't help her either. Since elementary school, the other kids have teased her and ridiculed her for her weird scar.

But when a strange boy passes her a note, which reveals the current location of a shifting dance club, she runs out one night to dance the night away. And thanks to the strange boy, she always knows where the club moves to each night. Under the alias named Lightning, Cassi goes every night to be free. But her curiosity to know who the strange boy grows, and when the club gets threatened to be discovered, she has to choose between finding the identity of the strange boy or saving her and the other dancers night getaway.

"Cal, we all have secrets." "Even you?" "Even me." **** Like most of her family, Calya Everson is an empath. Born with the gift of Illusion, the power possessed by a select few of the Nobility, she can feel the emotions of others. And as the third in line for the throne with stronger senses than anyone before her, she knows she could pose a threat to the seven regions, to her family, to everyone. That's why, for months, she refused to use it and kept her sixth sense silent. But things are changing, and when the return of her older brother and a meeting of all the rulers forces Cal's hand, she has no choice but to use her gift. And the scary thing is, she doesn't mind. General Atlas, firstborn to the King and dearly departed Queen, the heir to Harmonia, fears Illusion. Born without any special power, the sole exception of his family, the nature of Illusion is a mystery to him. He knows what challenges will await him when he takes his place as King, as the first ever ruler of Harmonia who lacks Illusion. When Cal's Illusion thwarts a planned attack on the castle and everyone in it, both Cal and Atlas are forced to flee from the castle for their safety. By order of the king, they're instructed to flee the palace and find the "safe haven," a small cottage on the edge of two of Harmonia's distinct regions. But as a truth about the Queen resurfaces, Cal and Atlas begin to realize that their little escape mission might hold the key to saving the kingdom - or destroying it. “That was marvelous!” He said. “Great job, Frank. Or, should I say, Franchesca?” I took a deep breath. A very, very deep breath. “Oh my God,” Was the most intelligent thing I could say. “’Oh my God’ is correct. How long have you been lying to us?” “Since the first day of school.” I couldn’t help but answer truthfully. “Why?” “A lot of reasons. Reasons you can’t understand.” “Try me.” “I’d rather not.” He sat down next to me on the edge, and for the first time since I got to the pool, I felt like covering myself up. Sure, my one-piece covered everything required, but I still felt… odd. I mean, one of the perfect boys from Connor Stanley was sitting right next to me. [Highest ranking #85] "Your family killed my mother for no reason plus I'm a pathetic weak girl, so don't expect us to be friends even if we have to be married" Jezebel said I looked at her blankly this is my fault I pushed her away I said all those things I acted cold towards her. She looked at me and you could see the slightest speck of emotion and its was sadness. I shook my head and looked at her. She rolled her eyes and started to walk out but I stopped her. "Oh Ella.. We will be more than friends and there is noting you can do about it" I said and grabbed her arm and threw her on my bed and smirked down at her innocent face. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Aiden Casin is a bad boy. Parents are the ruthless Carter Casin and carefree Isabella Casin. He sleeps around with all kinds of girls, speaks his mind, bully's on people, never listens, gets bad grades, and he's always breaking the rules.... Not believable? Yea, I'm not buying it either.. Aiden is actually a good kid people just give him all these labels because of his dad, that are mostly not true.... He does sleep around with girls and sometimes if it's necessary he will bully people to get a point through. But then something unexpected happened. He has to wed to his fathers rival gang for a treaty.... Jezebel Pari.... Hm. Doesn't that sound familiar? Wait you don't know her parents do you? Parents are Susan Pari and Dylan Pari. Jezebel is the exact opposite of her parents she is innocent and she is pure.... Yea, I'm not kidding this time. Even if her parents are or were totally freaks, Jezebel is the kindest girl you'll ever met. She loves animals, nature, people and her main hobby is art. But what will happen when her father makes her marry Aiden for her to spy on them? Will love blossom? Or will they be the rivals they were destined to be? Once enemies, always enemies. On the day that Clattonia lost it all, she became a monster -- at least, that's what the public calls those who are viewed as a threat due to having supernatural powers. Now, never trusting and pushed over the edge, seventeen year old Clattonia Cessair has become a fearless leader for those who want to rebel against White Rabbit, a government organization that kills "monsters" and protects the public, whether they were actually causing a problem or not. Jace Athens is the son of Daylen Athens, who became a famous and productive leader of White Rabbit after his wife was murdered by a "monster" when Jace was only five. Jace was raised to be caring, protective, fearless, and always willing to aid others, and although he was raised in a household that hates the so called monsters, he could never bring himself to hate them -- something deep inside him just couldn't. However, it wasn't like he was best friends with any either. But things just might change... Essence Kaori has always been shy, but the fact that she's been a "monster" since she was a child doesn't help her case. Not wanting to cause harm to anyone, Essence has always been known as a friendly girl once people got past her shyness. However, ever since she could remember, she's been hiding from White Rabbit. Reece Maverick -- smart, tactical, protective, oh, and a "monster" too. Reece is Clattonia's childhood friend and a leader of another group fighting against White Rabbit. Clattonia and Reece often work together and make a flawless team, but more and more people with supernatural powers have been getting killed by White Rabbit, making things even more risky than before. Just remember -- this is a world where the real darkness is not so clearly defined.
